A simple 1-axis joystick is sometimes just the right input device, especially when combined with a wooden hand rest.
Our workplace is standardized in many ways to promote routine and trust. In addition, this also makes it universal and therefore adaptable to most requirements.
Modern touchscreens are great and indispensable. For some tasks, however, a real joystick and a haptic rotary wheel are irreplaceable.
The less distraction and input required on the controller, the better the operator can concentrate on his work - namely taking pictures!
Since loose contacts or faulty plug connections are hazardous to production, we use only the best components available. Waterproof, of course.
Shotover produces the best stabilized camera gimbals on the market. In order to meet our individual preferences, we optimized the joysticks and input options of our G1 systems without affecting their original functions.
Ever since the first controller for a former Wingcam prototype, our love for force joysticks has only grown. In contrast to their relatives with a larger range of motion, these offer a very direct and smooth input feeling. The dead space at the zero crossing when the joystick changes direction is also eliminated.
Wingcam systems are usually operated in a team of two. In some cases, however, using foot pedals is also possible in order to be able to support a system with all functions as a single operator.

RAIL
The Redundant Airlink is our in-house, dual data radio system, which divides the transmission of control and status data into two separate communication channels in parallel. The advantages of the high bandwidth of a Wi-Fi or COFDM mesh network can therefore be combined with the robustness and range of classic UHF radios. In result the functional reliability is significantly improved.
